Hello from Blues Bash Central,

My Fellow Bluesheads !!

Wow, what a great day of friends, music, and fun !!

My thanks go out to All of this year's performers ! You outdid yourselves,

Blew Us Away !! Just Fantastic !!

...and of course...all of you Loyal Bluesheads too! It surely couldn't and wouldn't happen without you!!

Great to see so many happy, familiar faces and meet new friends too ! This year's show will certainly be hard to top! And Hey !! What about 11 year old Ray Goren? Whoa... does he have a Future in the Blues or not ?! Nice !!

Thanks to Papa Goren for making that happen !! Keep it up Ray, we're watching and listening!!

My deepest thanks go out to my Family, Friends and all our Volunteers, for their continued support, hard work,and positive energy !! My Fuel !!

For all of you that witnessed one of our guests being taken away by Paramedics,
she was dehydrated,and better later that evening! Whew...good news !

A few lessons learned this year, that hopefully will be changed for the better are:

We will only... feature 2 bands on our Back Porch Stage during the day. This in turn, will give those entertainers more time with our audience, making it a more enjoyable and worthwhile experience for them as well.

Maybe we tried to feature too many acts there this year. My bad guess...excitable boy...

The other was the fact that the P.A. system that was planned for that Back Porch stage just didn't cut it or do our performers justice ! My apologies to all...this will be addressed to be sure !

I hope everyone bought a CD or 2 to help their favorite Blues band(s) move forward,
and for that, I thank you !! We all know times are tough ...

OK then, that being said...my sincere thanks also go out to this year's photographers group.

NEWS *** Soon I will be launching another musical endeavor...

The 1st Annual... Julian Country Jam " Kick it up a Notch " Sat. Sept 24th in Julian at the Menghini's.... some New Country, some Classic Country, some Swamp, and some Rockabilly thrown in just for the ignition !! I'm booking the bands now...all hot !! so save the date !! more to come on that...

Well gang, that's about all the news from here, off to the Mighty Mississippi for some family time and R&R!
